Artist: Diane Schenkel moved to Brighton Michigan in 1970. She graduated from Brighton High School in 1978. During her four years in high school, she had several art classes Diane painted a mural on the wall in the old gym. Painted the high school’s playbill for Man of La Mancha. Had a drawing that hung in the Michigan State Capital. Diane stopped painting and drawing for 30 years. Over the past 5 years, Diane has 15 credit hours at Washtenaw Community College in drawing and painting. Has taken a few workshops in drawing and painting.
With Mr. Quackenbush, Diane used a graph, to get his perspective correct. Then, she used acrylic paint, with a limited pallet.
