Join the community for a family friendly fun-filled afternoon at the AMP as the BAHS, St Paul’s and El Arbol jointly celebrate Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead. This celebration will feature face painting, crafts, live music by Mariaci Cristal, 5-7 pm, food and beverages, guided tours of Old Village Cemetery at 2&5 pm, and a Photo Booth. St Paul’s Historic Chapel will be open for candle lighting and personal prayers for our departed loved ones. The CoBACH Center Exhibit of Local Cemeteries features photos and information of the many cemeteries of the Brighton area

Following the 11am Veterans Day Parade and program at the AMP you can warm up and enjoy a special FREE presentation inside CoBACH. You will learn the many customs and observances started as a result of America’s War of Rebellion (Civil War). Veteran Ed Vitez a member of the Sons of Union Veterans, Camp 120 is a wonderful speaker who engages his audiences especially the young as he shares information about the evolution of the day and cultural practices dedicated to memories of United States Veterans.
