“An Old Time Christmas With Santa” and Mrs. Claus will be visiting the 1885 Lyon One-room Schoolhouse on Sunday, December 10, 2023. This very popular special free children’s Christmas program is returning after a three year Covid absence.

Children can meet individually with Santa and Mrs. Claus to present them with their desired gift list and receive a candy cane. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to get that special early Christmas photo for family greeting cards. Feel free to bring grandparents as they will certainly enjoy seeing smiles and hearing laughter from their loved ones.

In another room several of Santa’s helpers will guide the children as they fabricate their make and take Christmas crafts.

The classic old style schoolhouse will be traditionally decorated reminiscent of scenes in Currier and Ives holiday scenes. Guests can pull the long rope and ring the bell located in the cupola on the roof.

Feel free to bring Grandma and Grandpa to enjoy the laughter and see those wonderful smiles. Plenty of free parking and a barrier free entrance and rest room make a no hassle, desirable location for all guests. No reservations, first come first serve.
