The Brighton Area Historical Society is a 100% volunteer; we have no paid staff. This means that everyone who has worked for the BAHS over the years has done so as a labor of love. What we do here is important. As such, we need your help. The is no shortage of work to be done towards our ongoing mission – preservation of local history.

We need people to help with maintenance on the Lyon School. We need help working our booth at the Brighton Farmer’s Market and the summer Fine Art Festival in . We need help with fund raising. We need help with historical survey work. We need help archiving a large amount of documents and data.  We need help with cemetery preservation.  To put it simply, we need your help.
