Artist: Sarah Grusin Bio:
Sarah Grusin enjoys portrait painting and drawing and has been a member of the Brighton Art Guild for 10 years. She took up art more seriously after she retired from the Smithsonian. She used water-based oil paints to create her portrait of Mrs. Jolly. Since there were no photos of Mrs. Jolly, she drew inspiration from a millinery series by Edgar Degas from the same period of time. To contact Sarah, email sarahgrusin@gmail.com.
